5.       From the search result that appears on your screen, you will need to select the YouTube application to get to the preview page. Once you are on the preview page of YouTube, you will need to tap on the Add Channel option. If prompted to confirm the download and installation process for the YouTube application by pressing the OK button on your Roku remote.

6.       After pressing the OK button, you will need to wait for a while to let the YouTube application get added to your Roku app store. Once the installation process gets completed, you will need to press the Home button on your remote and go to the My Channels section.

7.       In the My Channels section, you will need to locate and launch the YouTube channel app. Once the application gets launched on your screen, you will need to select the Gear icon located on the left-hand side of the YouTube channel app.

8.       Next, you will need to select the Sign-in option and enter your Google/YouTube account information in the relevant field (If prompted). As you will be logged in to the YouTube app, you will see an 8-digit activation code. Make sure that you note it down as you will need on the activation page.

9.       Now, you will need to open a web browser on your phone, computer, or tablet and enter the URL youtube.com/activate in the address bar. Going to this URL will open the activation page on your screen.

NOTE: If prompted, you will need to enter your Google account information and sign in to enter the activation code.

10.   Once you are on the activation page, you will need to enter the 8 digit activation code you noted in the relevant fields and confirm it. Then, you will need to click on the Allow access option prompted. After you are done follow the activation process, you will be able to watch YouTube on your Roku device.
